Elise Michelle Lorenzo

Elise is currently a postdoctoral scholar for the Institute for Rural Education and Development at the University of South Carolina. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, where she also completed her M.A. in Applied Sociology and B.A. in Marketing and Event Planning, proudly making her a Forever Knight. Known for her curiosity, creativity, and collaborative spirit, she brings energy and intention to every project she joins. Whether leading a research team or coordinating an outreach event, Elise thrives in dynamic environments where big ideas and small details matter equally. As a colleague, she is organized, adaptable, and always ready with a laugh, especially when problem-solving under pressure.
